John Krasinski Will Be On 'Arrested Development'
John Krasinski will make a cameo in the upcoming season of Arrested Development, Entertainment Weekly reports. Arrested Development has employed the talents of well-known actors for smaller roles in the past, including Henry Winkler as lawyer Barry Zuckercorn, Liza Minnelli as Lucille Ostero (a.k.a. “Lucille 2”) and Andy Richter and Carl Weathers as themselves. Winkler, Minnelli, Richter and Weathers are all set to return, and Krasinski will reportedly be joined by newcomers Seth Rogen, Kristen Wiig, Conan O’Brien, Isla Fisher and Mad Men’s John Slattery.
Krasinski, who will no longer be “Jim” when The Office concludes on May 16, has established himself in the film industry. In 2012 alone he appeared in Big Miracle, Nobody Walks and Promised Land, the last of which he wrote along with Matt Damon. Krasinski will next voice the character “Frank McCay” in the Pixar movie Monster’s University. But until then, fans will have to keep their eyes peeled for him on Arrested Developement, which premieres with its entire 15-episode season on Netflix on May 26.
