Now that those pesky baseball games are out of the way, Glee returned to Tuesday night Fox with a charming new cast member — Glee Project winner Damian McGinty. Appearing as foreign exchange student Rory Flanagan, a kid so Irish that he wears green all the time, sings about it ("Bein' Green") and leads the air-headed Brittany to believe he's a leprechaun, until Finn (Cory Monteith) bursts her bubble with a caustic "you're an idiot!" There was plenty of discord among the kids of New Directions when the episode opened, the first after the shocking departure of Mercedes in favor of Shelby's (Idina Menzel) rival singing group, called the Troubletones.
