On the anniversary of Cory Monteith’s death, Lea Michele paid tribute to her late boyfriend and former co-star by posting a photo on Twitter.

“The light always remains,” Michele wrote with a red heart emoji.

This isn’t the first time the Glee star paid tribute to Monteith. She also has a “Finn” tattoo which recognized Monteith’s character from the show.

She showed off the tattoo on Instagram where she shared photos from her photo shoot. The ink is displayed on her upper thigh.

Monteith and Michele were both stars of Glee, and the two started dating in 2012. He died a year later on July 13 from a combination of alcohol and heroin.

The actor was 31 years old when he died.

Michele is now married to Zandy Reich, the president of AYR (All Year Round), a clothing company that focuses on “seasonless essentials” that women can wear throughout the year.
