In a recent clip, Nicole Kidman appeared to snap at Salma Hayek before refusing to pose for a photo with the actress, sparking rumors that the pair had been engaging in a harsh feud.

Despite the speculation over Kidman’s snub at the Balenciaga show, the actress was reportedly angered by pestering photographers.

The stars were said to have been exchanging advice after posing for photos during Paris Fashion Week, when Kidman, tired of persistent requests for cameras, walked away, saying, “Don’t touch me!”

Kidman’s team claims that the actress was responding to a crush of photographers and was not upset at Hayek, who is married to the second richest person in the world, LVMH CEO François-Henri Pinault

Footage of the incident, which took place two weeks ago, appeared to show Kidman swatting Hayek’s hand away as she suggested they pose for a photo together.

Hours after the show, Hayek uploaded photos to Instagram, including one with Kidman.

Fans were quick to comment about Kidman’s supposed scolding, with one saying, “Nicole was so rude to you; why take pictures with her?”

However, some seemingly defended Kidman, making note of her mother’s recent death.

“To expose Nicole when she’s going through such a sad time…” one user wrote.

The event marked Kidman’s first public engagement since her mother, Janelle, passed away. Kidman skipped accepting her Best Actress award at the Venice Film Festival to rush home to her family
