Magic Mike, an upcoming film loosely based on actor Channing Tatum's brief stint as a male stripper, is directed by Oscar-winner Steven Soderbergh and features a lineup of stars that reads like a list of Hollywood's hottest men: Alex Pettyfer, Joe Manganiello, Matthew McConaughey and Matt Bomer. While it's not the kind of CGI-heavy film that tends to draw male stars, there was some unexpected stunt work that Bomer did not expect — squeezing what he calls "his junk" into a thong.

"I think most importantly for me, [the hardest part] was figuring out how to put on a thong," Bomer told MTV News. "The first time I tried, I had never worn a thong before, so the first time I tried it I put it on wrong and my junk didn’t fit in it. I had to call a wardrobe person in, 'Something is wrong with my thong, you guys. I think we are gonna have to figure this out,’ and they're like, 'Yeah your legs are in the wrong holes.’ That was step one. No, there weren’t that many tricks going on, it was sort of a lot of tearaway clothes you know. There’s definitely a technique to make sure you get those off cleanly.”

Bomer also dished about bonding with his handsome co-stars. "It was criminal man, we had a blast. There’s a new band of brothers in town," he said. "There something about having to throw a thong on in front of other people that just instantly forms an ensemble. We had a great time. I really think there hasn’t really been a movie like this before, and we did it all on a G-string budget."
