After seeing the trailer, many fans took to Twitter questioning how Jack-Jack, the superhero baby, could still be in fact a baby after all of these years. Fans joked about it and even compared the movie to other popular shows on TV that do the same thing. Mo Gilligan (@MoTheComedian) tweeted, “Me watching the Incredibles 2 trailer and seeing that the baby was still a baby after all these years” with a common meme attached to it.
Coming to the movies defense, JojoC (@joreyc4life) tweeted, “If Stewie can be a baby after 18 years of family guy, ya’ll leave Jack-Jack alone #Incredibles 2.”
Brad Bird will return as director and writer for the film. Craig T. Nelson, Holly Hunter, Sarah Vowell and Samuel L. Jackson will also return to reprise their roles.
