Tori Spelling Cries About Ex-Husband Dean McDermott: ‘I Don’t Want To Die Alone’
During a new episode of her podcast, Tori Spelling revealed her mixed feelings following the divorce from her ex-husband, Dean McDermott.
“I just started having therapy in a long time, and I just started with a new therapist,” Spelling said on her MisSpelling podcast. “We’re going all back way back to childhood because she’s like, ‘I don’t know where this comes from,’ but I have a very odd relationship with men.”
“I’m not 51 and single again with five kids, so I don’t even know where I stand in the future,” breaking down in tears, Spelling added. “I just don’t want to be alone. I don’t want to die alone; I don’t know what I’m doing right now.”
Spelling’s emotional moment comes more than one year after she filed for divorce from her ex-husband, Dean McDermott, after 18 years of marriage. At the start of her podcast, she offered commentary on their lengthy marriage.
Spelling revealed during an episode in December 2024 that she would “never regret” being married to McDermott for as long as she did, but she believes she stayed too long. “I always thought as bad as things might be between my partner and myself, it’s better to have their dad in the house than in a different residence,” she said. “I think that kept me in the relationship far too long; it ultimately, I feel, did a disservice to my kids.”
