Tom Brady said that there is “no retirement in my future,” amid swirling rumors of an impending divorce between him and Gisele Bündchen, which was spurred by his sudden decision to begin playing for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers again after initially going into retirement.

He seems mostly loyal to his team at this point.

“I love this sport, and I love the teammates, and I want to go do a great job for this team like I always have,” he said.

This video was shared to the Buccaneers’ Instagram account.

Brady was responding to theories by commentator and former NFL player Chris Simms where he said Brady may leave the NFL before the end of the season because “this is a weird year where we’re seeing Brady doing weird crap and having personal issues.”

While he didn’t give an update on whether he and Bündchen would officially be filing for divorce, Brady has been seen in public several times without his wedding ring recently.

The QB had even been offered a cushy job as a sports analyst for Fox, getting offered $375 million over 10 years to work at the network once he retired, but his first retirement lasted about a month before he decided to rejoin his team.
