Over the weekend, Teen Mom 2 star Jenelle Evans was hospitalized after police responded to an incident at her and husband David Eason’s North Carolina home.

The chief of the 911 operations for Columbus County told E! News that on October 13, officers were sent to the house to investigate a report of “an assault.”

“Once they arrived, they advised her proper legal actions to take,” the chief revealed. “An ambulance was called and then canceled because she said she was going to the ER in a private vehicle.”

A representative for the Teen Mom star told People that Evans had friends over on Saturday night and they had a bonfire on her property in which, “Jenelle ended up tripping and falling by the fire.”

The chief said that the two officers had responded to the 911 call that a female made from the house before 10 p.m. which was “called in as an assault.”

Evans and Eason have been married for over a year and they have a one and half-year-old daughter, Ensley. Evans also has two sons from previous relationships and Eason has a son and daughter.

In April, Evans was involved in an incident where she pulled out a gun in the car while her son, Jace, was with her. During the Teen Mom 2 reunion in August, Evans explained that she has had “PTSD” ever since. She also opened up about her denial of the incident in which she originally accused her son of lying.

Earlier this year, Eason also made headlines after being fired from “Teen Mom 2” over homophobic tweets. At the time, Evans had defended him, saying “David doesn’t hate people from the LGBT community. My old manager was gay and used to be one of me and Davids close friends. We attended Farrah (Abraham)’s birthday in Miami with a lot of LGBT people there and he didn’t act in any type of way. We went had a good time and left. We are sorry for the comments that were made.”
