VIDEO: Pool Water Spills Off High-Rise Tower As Earthquake Rocks Bangkok
Pool water spilled off the top of a pair of 35-story apartment buildings in Bangkok on March 28, as the Thai capital felt the effects of a 7.7-magnitude earthquake that struck in neighboring Myanmar. This video shows water pouring over the side of one of the two buildings in the Life Ratchadapisek condominium complex in the Huai Khwang area of Bangkok. The source of the video said they had run out of the tower, terrified that it was about to collapse. About two miles west of the Life Ratchadapisek buildings, an under-construction high-rise tower collapsed due to the earthquake, leaving dozens of workers trapped under rubble.
