Week five of The Bachelor and Sean Lowe is starting to seem as witless as he is shirtless as he continues to be played by Tierra’s many games.

Lindsay benefits from getting the only group date of the night after Sean brings them all to Montana. They take a ride in a helicopter above Glacier National Park, and Lindsay proves to Sean she’s more than the drunk girl in a wedding dress she appeared to be last week. She also opens up to Sean about growing up an Army brat, leading him to gush, “You’re pretty amazing, you know that?” and eventually give her a rose.

Keeping up the tradition of this season of The Bachelor, the girls are once again put to task in a physically demanding challenge, more suited for The Gauntlet than a group date on a dating show. The eight girls selected for the group date Selma, Desiree, Robyn, Sarah, AshLee, Lesley, Daniella and Catherine – have to compete in groups of four in four separate activities. In plaid flannel shirts, they race in a canoe, buck hay, saw a log and milk a goat (and drink it for a bonus!). The winning team is supposed to get extra alone time with Sean, but he breaks the rules and invites the losing team as well – removing any advantage that Desiree thought drinking the warm goat’s milk had got her and the rest of the red team.

Lastly, there was the two-on-two date with Sean, Jackie and… Tierra. At the group date, Tierra had swooped in when she didn’t belong to sink her claws into Sean before the direct competition with Jackie on their date. “I worry about Tierra because I know she’s having a hard time with how this works,” Sean naively admits. While horseback riding, Tierra begins to monopolize Sean’s attention. Although Jackie made a brief attempt to open Sean’s eyes to the true Tierra, she’s out maneuvered. Once Tierra gets Sean alone again, she confides in him about a long-term boyfriend who had been in and out of rehab for substance abuse – explaining away some of her clingier moments and winning a rose off Sean in the process.

At the end of the episode it’s Robyn Sean decides to say goodbye to. “What was he thinking? He sent me home over Tierra,” Robyn says as she’s driven off from the lodge. “He probably thinks I’m starting drama, but I didn’t do anything … if Sean ends up with Tierra, he better think twice about it.”

The Bachelor will return tonight on ABC at 8 P.M. EST.
