Kylie Jenner Tells ‘AdWeek’: ‘I Started Wigs’
Kylie Jenner is on a roll this week landing two covers in one day, but after a controversial interview with Marie Claire, fans aren’t too happy with her.
Jenner posed for both Ad Week and Marie Claire, but many want to know why the reality star told Marie Claire that she started the wig trend.
When Marie Claire asked Jenner about her ability to influence people, she replied: “I started wigs, and now everyone is wearing wigs. Kim [Kardashian] just used my wig guy last night… I just do whatever I want to do, and people will follow.”

Jenner decided to take on Twitter to defend herself: “When publications switch up your words for hype… Damn”
Many fans noted that Jenner’s statement is obviously untrue. Nevertheless, Jenner decided to put the controversy aside and attended Marie Claire’s Fresh Face Party in a chic white blazer with skintight matching trousers by Balmain.

Despite the uproar, Jenner appeared to have a great time, sharing laughs with gal pal’s Hailey Baldwin, Zendaya and actress Gugu Mbatha-Raw.
