Kate Hudson Reveals Pregnancy And Baby’s Gender All In One Video

Kate Hudson surprised fans with a video on Instagram that she and her boyfriend Danny Fujikawa are expecting their first child together – a baby girl!

The couple shared the news on Friday that showed them and Hudson’s two sons Bingham Hawn and Ryder Russell popping four huge balloons to reveal showers of pink confetti.

Hudson wrote in her caption that she’s been absent from social media because she has been too sick to keep up with her accounts.

“If you’ve wondered why I’ve been so absent on my social channels it’s because I have never been more sick!” she wrote. “[It] was the most sick first trimester of all my children. Boomerangs have made me nauseous, Superzoom is an easy way to have my head in the toilet, food Instagrams make me queezy and thinking too much about Insta stories made me even more exhausted than I already had been.”

If you’ve seen me out and about smiling and pretending like everything is amazing…I was lying! BUT! I have broken through on the other end of that and rediscovering the joys of insta/snap. We have been trying to keep this pregnancy under the radar for as long as possible but I’m a poppin now! And it’s too darn challenging to hide, and frankly hiding is more exhausting then just coming out with it! My kids, Danny, myself and the entire family are crazy excited! A little girl on the way 💕

Though this is Hudson’s third child, this is their first together. Ryder Russell is the son of Black Crowes frontman Chris Robinson and Bingham Hawn is the son of Muse frontman Matt Bellamy. However, this is Hudson’s first time being pregnant with a baby girl.

Hudson and Fujikawa have been dating for since December of 2016, but just made their relationship public last year. Even though they have been dating for a year, they have known each other for over 15 years.
