Justin Timberlake’s Mugshot Released Following Arrest For DWI In The Hamptons

Police have released a mugshot of singer Justin Timberlake after his arrest for driving while intoxicated following a night out in the Hamptons.

The 43-year-old was spotted running a stop sign and failing to keep his 2025 BMW in its lane while driving on Madison Street in Sag Harbor shortly after 12:30 a.m. Tuesday, authorities said. Officers said they smelled alcohol on Timberlake’s breath and noted he had glassy eyes and slow speech.

Timberlake refused to take a breathalyzer test at the scene, his lawyer Ed Burke said. He was charged with a single count of DWI and released without bail after an arraignment Tuesday morning.

According to witnesses, Timberlake had been drinking with friends at the American Hotel earlier in the evening. 

Burke said Timberlake admitted to police he’d had one martini and was following friends home when pulled over.

The “SexyBack” singer is currently on his Forget Tomorrow World Tour. He last performed on June 15 in Miami and has shows scheduled this week in Chicago and next week in New York.

Timberlake has been open about past struggles with alcohol addiction. In an interview last year, he said excessive drinking took a toll and credited his wife, Jessica Biel, with supporting his recovery. However, he also launched his tequila brand, Sauza 901, in 2014.

The Suffolk County District Attorney’s office said Timberlake is due back in court on July 26, the same day he’s set to perform in Krakow, Poland.

Neither Timberlake’s representatives nor Biel, who posted a Father’s Day tribute just hours before the arrest, have publicly commented on the mugshot or arrest.
