Former Nickelodeon child star Amanda Bynes revealed on her Instagram that she has signed up to use OnlyFans to connect with fans and supporters.

“I’m on OnlyFans now!” Bynes posted on Tuesday on her Instagram Stories. “I’m doing OnlyFans to chat with my fans through DM’s, I won’t be posting any sleazy content.” The app offers subscriber-only content – much of which is adult – and has attracted celebrities such as Denise Richards, Cardi B, Kate Nash and Lily Allen.

Bynes has also struggled with substance abuse. On March 20, 2023, she was placed in a 72-hour psychiatric hold after she flagged a bystander for help, and she contacted the police with the intention of self-harm. Mental health professionals determined that Bynes required inpatient treatment. She was later released on June 30 with plans for follow-up treatment.

Bynes has set a price for her subscribers at $50 a month to have access to her content, and so far, the former star has uploaded two mirror selfies to the app.

Former The Amanda Show costar Drake Bell praised Bynes following an appearance last December at an art show and clothing pop-up in West Hollywood, California, “She may as well have been Rachel on Friends. She was the biggest thing on the planet to me.”

“She was great then, she remains great and such a good person,” Bell said on the Good Guys podcast. “She had some public struggles, but I think she’s got one of the greatest hearts and great skills, great talents of anyone there is.”

Bynes has struggled with public appearances for years after she quit her acting career after working in multiple shows such as All That and What I Like About You, and films including She’s the Man, What a Girl Wants, Hairspray and Easy A, which was her final acting performance in 2010.

In April 2024, Bynes announced on her social media that she was working on becoming a manicurist and planned to return to school to study manicurist theory.
