The daughter of former Major League Baseball pitcher Greg Swindell was found after a two-day search over multiple states.

Swindell’s daughter, Brenna Swindell, 29, was found last week in an undisclosed location with her ex-boyfriend, Morgan Guidry. The Travis County Sheriff’s Office reported that Guidry was taken into custody on an outstanding warrant.

Greg pitched for several MLB teams during his 17-year career and announced the news on social media platform X. “She has been found. That’s all we have for now,” Swindell wrote. The former pitcher expressed gratitude to everyone involved in the search efforts.

The Swindell family first reported Brenna, a single mother of three, missing last week from her home in Austin. They raised concerns about her safety. They noted that she might be traveling in a white Kia vehicle with her ex-boyfriend.

As the search progressed, the family shared updates indicating that Brenna and Guidry had been spotted in Colorado over the weekend. The multi-state nature of the case drew the attention of various law enforcement agencies and missing persons organizations.

The Missing in America Network, which assisted in publicizing Brenna’s disappearance, issued a statement asking for privacy for the Swindell family.

While details surrounding Brenna’s whereabouts during her absence remain unclear, Greg and his wife, Sarah, went on X to express their appreciation for the public’s support. “Thanks for all the messages, calls, and, most of all, PRAYERS. Journey home starts soon,” Greg wrote.
