Finding Dory, the sequel to 2003’s smash animated hit Finding Nemo, has its first trailer.

‘Finding Dory’ Trailer

In the trailer, Nemo (Hayden Rolence) catches Dory (Ellen DeGeneres) sleep-talking after sleep-swimming and sleep-crashing into some coral. Nemo worries that she’ll swim away, but his father Marlin (Albert Brooks) convinces him to go back to sleep. Before they know it, Dory is off. But to where?

Dory is likely swimming out to sea to find her long-lost parents, whom she remembers out of the blue one day.

“I remembered something. That’s not possible is it? Is it like a picture in your head and then you think, ‘I’ve seen this before?'” she asks her friends. “I just used the word ‘before,’ which means … I’m remembering something! What was I talking about?”

“My family!” Dory remembers. “They’re out there somewhere. I have to find them!”

Finding Dory, set six months after the last installment, was announced two years ago. At the time, it was revealed that the memory-lacking Blue Tang would be heading off on a mission with her clown fish friend Nemo and the rest of the motley crew of marine life somewhere along the California coast.

“I have waited for this day for a long, long, long, long, long, long time,” DeGeneres had said in a statement. “I’m not mad it took this long. I know the people at Pixar were busy creating Toy Story 16. But the time they took was worth it. The script is fantastic. And it has everything I loved about the first one: It’s got a lot of heart, it’s really funny, and the best part is—it’s got a lot more Dory.”

Finding Dory is slated to hit theaters June 17, 2016.
