VIDEO: Raccoon With Meth Pipe Found In Driver’s Seat During Traffic Stop
A routine traffic stop turned into a bizarre scene on May 5 when a police officer in Akron, Ohio, discovered a pet raccoon sitting in the driver’s seat with a meth pipe in its mouth. “As Officer Branham returned to the vehicle, he observed a raccoon sitting in the driver’s seat with a meth pipe in its mouth,” the department said. Police said the animal’s name was, aptly enough, Chewy, and that it “had somehow gotten hold of a glass methamphetamine pipe and trying to smoke it!” A search of the vehicle uncovered meth, crack cocaine and three used glass meth pipes. The driver, Victoria Vidal, 55, was charged with felony drug possession, three counts of drug paraphernalia possession and driving under suspension.
