The former New York City mayor and personal attorney of Donald Trump, Rudy Giuliani, was reportedly unmasked as an eliminated contestant in last week’s taping of the first season 7 episode of Fox’s popular reality competition show, The Masked Singer. This reveal allegedly caused judges Ken Jeong and Robin Thicke to walk off the stage in protest.

Nicole Scherzinger and Jenny McCarthy stayed on stage and bantered with Giuliani. Thicke and Jeong eventually returned to continue the show.

Fox refuses to comment on this matter due to the show’s policy against confirming leaks. Meanwhile, Giuliani’s costume and song remain a mystery.

This is not the first time that The Masked Singer has featured a controversial political figure as one of its contestants. Former governor of Alaska and reality TV star Sarah Palin was unmasked in March 2020 as the Bear which brought some criticism.

The Masked Singer returns with its seventh season on March 9 on Fox. The theme will be “The Good, the Bad and the Cuddly.”
