Charlie Sheen Asks For Lower Child Support Payments To Denise Richards & Brooke Mueller
Charlie Sheen, 52, has filed requests to lower his child support payments to ex-wives Denise Richards and Brooke Mueller. The actor has two daughters with Richards and twin boys with Mueller, along with a 33-year-old-daughter with his high school girlfriend. Sheen claims that he has been unable to find steady work as an actor and can no longer afford to make the payments for his four younger children.

Sheen has said that he has been “blacklisted” in Hollywood and is in a “dire financial crisis” with less than $10 million to his name. He owes nearly $5 million in back payments for other debts, including pool and gardening services and says that these debts are are affecting his ability to pay child support. In February, he listed his home for nearly $10 million. The actor has not had steady work in Hollywood since 2014.

Sheen worked on the CBS TV series Two and a Half Men from 2003 until 2011 and was paid $1.8 million per episode in his final season. He was the highest paid TV actor in Hollywood until he was fired by CBS after brutally insulting Chuck Lorre, the show’s creator, in a public meltdown. Sheen then worked on FX’s Anger Management, which was canceled after two seasons. He has remained largely out of the spotlight after going public with his HIV status in 2015.
