Jimmy Kimmel has a history of promoting prolific comic book-themed films on his program, Jimmy Kimmel Live! He had the cast behind Marvel’s Avengers: Age of Ultron last year, and Kimmel and Tom Holland showcased a new trailer for the upcoming Spider-Man: Homecoming last night.

New Spider-Man: Homecoming Trailer

Captain America: Civil War was the introduction to Holland’s Peter Parker/Spider-Man, who will learn to balance his standard high school life with his snarky crime fighting half. Additionally, Homecoming is the first cinematic depiction of Spider-Man’s web wings.

Robert Downey Jr. is reprising his role as Tony Stark/Iron Man, who will continue to mentor to the web crawler. Likewise, Marisa Tomei will return to play Aunt May.

Michael Keaton was cast as the Vulture, a recognizable foe in the iconic hero’s rouges gallery, and Mary Jane Watson will be portrayed by Zendaya.

Spider-Man: Homecoming will swing into theaters on July 7, 2017. The entire trailer can be seen below:

Another upcoming installment in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, also recently graced fans with a new trailer. Considering the third phase of the shared universe has six additional movies planned, Marvel’s fans have plenty to look forward to.
