Taylor Swift has signed a multi-year deal with AT&T, which includes her headlining AT&T DIRECTV Super Saturday Night in Houston, Texas, the night before the Super Bowl.

TAYLOR SWIFT TO HEADLINE AT&T SUPER BOWL PRE-SHOW

Speculation that Swift might perform with Lady Gaga at the Super Bowl halftime show was quickly shut down, as the halftime show is sponsored by Pepsi and Swift is a spokesperson for Coke. She will, however, be top billed at AT&T’s big pre-game concert. This comes as part of a contract she signed recently with the telecommunications company.

“AT&T signed a major, exclusive multi-year, multi-faceted deal featuring performances and content with 10-time Grammy award-winning singer, songwriter, musician, and producer Taylor Swift,” the statement reads. “As part of the deal with AT&T, Taylor Swift will headline AT&T DIRECTV Super Saturday Night in Houston the night before the Big Game. This is the 12th DIRECTV event leading up to the biggest sporting event of the year, and the first time Taylor Swift will perform during the festivities.”

Now, Swift’s last album, 1989, debuted in October 2014, and the singer has been relatively quiet recently. Some fans seem to think that this deal could foreshadow the release of her newest album. Especially as singer Ke$ha wrote a cryptic Instagram post naming a “casual Grammy award winning secret person” as a collaborator on a brand new track. Many fans now have the idea that Ke$ha was referring to Swift.
