Fresh From Divorce From Ben Affleck, Jennifer Lopez Makes Out With Dancers During Her AMAs Opening Medley
Singer Jennifer Lopez kissed the dancers who performed during her opening medley at this year’s American Music Awards (AMAs).
During the first six minutes of the show, which took place in Las Vegas on Monday night, Lopez performed 23 songs, including “Birds of a Feather” by Billie Eilish, “Beautiful Things” by Benson Boone and “Not Like Us” by Kendrick Lamar.
She wore a nude, sparkling jumpsuit. She wore her hair sleek and straight for the performance.
The singer, who filed for divorce from Ben Affleck on August 20, 2024, left the audience shocked when she kissed the dancers. At one point, she kissed a male dancer and then a female dancer.
After the medley, comedian Tiffany Haddish came on stage and shared her appreciation for Lopez.
“How cool is it to have a total superstar like J.Lo hosting the AMAs,” Haddish, 45, asked the audience.
She then jokingly stated that this year, the awards should be called the “JMAs.”
“Our host has just danced to 23 hits in six minutes,” she went on to say. “Just from that opening number alone, Jenny from the Block has got all her steps in for the day, and she got all her kisses in.”
“Save a dancer for me, J.Lo,” she stated Lopez’s actions during the AMAs opening medley. “Damn! You ain’t the only one out here single.”
The comedian then went on to announce the winner for the Favorite R&B Song category.
“I had to kick things off by turning it up to the biggest songs of the year and dancing my heart out for all of you, but tonight, the spotlight belongs to you, because this is the world’s largest fan-voted award show where you decide the winners,” Lopez stated after her medley.
