President Obama‘s health has improved since his last physical that was almost two years ago.
OBAMA’S HEALTH ON THE RISE
With time comes aging and the President often jokes about amount of gray hair that he’s accumulated in the last seven years ago, but doctors confirm his health is doing better.
“The president’s overall health remains excellent and is improved from his last formal assessment,” said the report from White House physician Dr. Ronnie L. Jackson, released by the White House Tuesday. “His adherence to a healthy diet and a consistent exercise program has resulted in an improved lean body mass and lower cholesterol level.”
Obama seems to be focusing more on his health with a good diet, not smoking, and the occasional drink of alcohol. He also works out daily which includes aerobics and resistance weight training. The President has gained some muscle and lowered his cholesterol.
“All clinical data indicates that the president is currently very healthy and that he will remain so for the duration of his presidency,” the report said.
Obama completed his fourth physical exam as president in February. He weighed 179.9 pounds in 2010, went to 181.3 pounds in 2011 and dropped back to 180 pounds in 2014. His total cholesterol has dropped from 213 to 188.
