Conan O’Brien Channels Cam Newton During Upsetting Press Conference

After an upsetting loss for the Carolina Panthers, quarterback Cam Newton took part in a press conference after the Super Bowl – and did not look happy.

Newton was obviously very upset after the loss and only answered a few questions from the reporters with only one- or two-worded answers before abruptly leaving the stage.

TV host Conan O’Brien decided to cash in on the awkward press conference with his own version after failing to tell a funny joke about Newton, dubbing him a “Fig Newton.”

O’Brien, wearing a similar gray hoodie to Newton’s, held his own awkward conference refusing to answer the reporters’ questions and leaving the stage after a few minutes.
