Calvin Harris threatened to sue a tabloid for posting a false story about how Taylor Swift broke up with him after he cheated on her.

Harris tweeted his aggravation with a tabloid that claimed Swift had broken up with him for being unfaithful to her. “It’s not going to be a ‘happy ending’ for everyone I sue for defamation of character for all these bulls—t stories bye bye,” the tweet said.

According to the story, Swift broke it off with Harris after she discovered that he had cheated on her at a massage parlor. Swift has not commented on these allegations, but she did favorite Harris’s tweet.

Selena Gomez, who is close to Swift, shared her opinion on the matter. “This is honestly so stupid,” she said in an interview with Andy Cohen Live on Monday. Last month, Us Weekly reported that things were going well between Harris and Swift, and that the “Shake it Off” singer has started calling him by his given name, which is Adam.
