Vanessa posted another photo on Gianna’s birthday asking everyone to wear red as a way to honor her daughter’s memory. Vanessa explained that this idea came from Gianna always having worn a red bow in her hair for school pictures. In the photo, Vanessa is shown in a red shirt and wearing a red band bracelet that reads “Gigi Bryant.” Vanessa went on to say that they “are in the process of making this bracelet available for proceeds to benefit our Mamba and Mambacita foundation,” an organization focused on positive impact through sport and is linked to Bryant’s Mamba Sports Academy.
