Caitlyn Jenner Is First Family’s Member To Speak Out About Kim Kardashian’s Robbery

After Kim Kardashian was the target of a robbery at gunpoint in her Paris hotel room earlier this week, former stepmom Caitlyn Jenner was the first member of the family to speak out about the subject and decided to take to Instagram to express her concerns.

Jenner expressed how relieved she felt after the assault. “After hearing the full story, I’m so thankful she’s okay,” she commented in an Instagram post using a picture of her former stepdaughter. “It’s a reminder for us all to be careful in the uncertainty of this world.”

The Keeping Up With The Kardashians diva was held up by two armed masked men dressed as police officers, according to her representative. They tied Kardashian up, locked her in a bathroom and stole about $10 million of jewelry. In a recent statement, Paris Police spokeswoman Johanna Primevert said that Kardashian’s social media presence could have been the reason she has been targeted.

On last Monday afternoon, Kardashian joined her husband, Kanye West, in New York City. The night before, the rapper stopped his show at The Meadows Music Festival, citing a “family emergency.”
