The second season of Project Runway: All Stars concluded Thursday night and the winner was Anthony Ryan Auld. Ryan Auld, who finished in seventh place on Project Runway Season 9 beat out Emilio Sosa (season 7) and Uli Herzner (season 3) to win the grand prize of designing a small collection for Nine West, $150,000, a sewing and embroidery studio, Marie Claire fashion spread (as well as a one-year Contributing Editor position) and a trip around the world.

During the competition Ryan Auld won five challenges, a record for the show. He won the final competition under strict time and budget contraints; the contestants had four days and $3,000 to put together a partial collection. In the end Ryan Auld was the one who impressed the judges the most.

“It’s like the best dress I think I’ve ever seen on Project Runway," judge Isaac Mizrahi said during the finale in reaction to one of Ryan Auld's designs.

“I want to be that designer that can bring something high fashion that everyone can afford," Ryan Auld said during an interview with Project Runway: All Stars. "I want to be able to give power to the everyday person instead of the people with money.”

Season 11 of Project Runway premieres next Thursday on Lifetime at 8 p.m. EST. —Hal Sundt
