War Machine, whose real name is Jon Koppenhaver, is on the run from Las Vegas police for the alleged beating of his girlfriend, adult film star Christy Mack.
War Machine Allegedly Beat Girlfriend Christy Mack
Mack and an unidentified man were hospitalized after the violent altercation Friday morning, though the extent of their injuries is unclear. Mack is expected to release a statement sometime soon, but has broken her silence on Twitter sending out just a few tweets to clarify some rumors. Mack denies War Machine caught her cheating with another MMA fighter and insists that War Machine walked away from the fight unscathed.
War Machine Twitter Rant
War Machine, however, has been tweeting up a storm, declaring his love for Mack on the social networking site. Furthermore, War Machine revealed that he had surprised Mack at their Las Vegas home with the intention of proposing, writing, “I’m not a bad guy, I went to surprise my gf, help her set up her show and to give her an engagement ring and ended up fighting for my life.”
The fighter has continued on his Twitter rant since Friday, August 8, and insists that he is heartbroken and “cursed.”
Finally, War Machine also informed his Twitter followers that he is still debating whether or not to turn himself in to the police. “The cops will never give me fair play, never believe me,” War Machine wrote, suggesting that he may not have been the aggressor. “I only wish that man hadn’t been there and that Christy and I would be happily engaged. I don’t know why I’m so cursed. One day truth will come out,” he continued.
Jenna Jameson Defends Christy Mack
Las Vegas authorities are looking for the MMA fighter, and Mack’s family and friends have announced that there is a $5,000 reward for any information that leads to War Machine’s capture. One such friend, Jenna Jameson, has been particularly vocal on Twitter, going so far as to post a photo of War Machine on a Wanted poster.
In addition to taking on haters on Twitter, Jameson posted a photo on Instagram of herself and Mack, asking fans to pray for Mack’s recovery.
“Please EVERYONE pray for my amazing, beautiful friend [Christy Mack], she is in the hospital with massive injuries inflicted by her ex. She is a beautiful soul, and I know she has the guts to press charges on [War Machine],” Jameson wrote.
Jameson has also been responding to War Machine’s tweets to Mack, urging him to turn himself into the authorities.
Though Jameson has said on Twitter that she has not been allowed to see Mack for herself, she claims that Mack is in very poor condition and was “nearly killed” by the MMA fighter, writing, “You nearly killed the woman that stood by you. Make all the excuses you want, it just looks cowardly.”
