VIDEO: Vanessa Hudgens And Josh Hutcherson's Awkward 'Journey 2' Interview

Vanessa Hudgens, as everyone not living in a cave knows, is dating actor Austin Butler, NOT her Journey 2: The Mysterious Island co-star Josh Hutcherson (The Kids Are All Right). But, apparently, news takes its time getting to Australia, where Hudgens, 23, and Hutcherson, 19, were on hand promoting Journey 2, which co-stars Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson.

During the televised interview on a Brisbane morning show, a news anchor abruptly asked the duo, "So how long have you two been going out?" There was an awkward pause while the young pair, who dated briefly while filming the movie, exchanged an awkward glance. "We’re not… We were at one point, but she broke my heart. No, I’m just kidding. That was a while ago. We’re really good friends now."

There were some other awkward moments along the way, including the female interviewer saying "The Rock" was one of her favorite actors (really?) and Hudgens claiming that Johnson made her feel like "a midget, as if I'm not short enough al-reggie." Double oops.
