Tracy Morgan remains in the hospital after his limo bus overturned in an accident on the New Jersey Turnpike over the weekend.

Tracy Morgan Health Update

Morgan, 45, is still listed in critical condition at Robert Wood Johnson hospital in New Brunswick, N.J. He’s continuing to recover from broken ribs, a broken nose, a broken leg and a broken femur, but has shown signs of improvement, according to his publicist Lewis Kay.

"He has been more responsive, which is an incredibly encouraging sign," Kay told CNN Sunday. "We expect him to remain in the hospital for several weeks.” Kay added that Morgan’s family, “is tremendously overwhelmed and appreciative of the outpouring of love and support from his fans."

Truck Driver Went 24 Hours Without Sleep

Truck driver Kevin Roper turned himself into authorities Saturday following the crash. He was charged with one count of vehicular homicide and four counts of assault by auto. He was released on $50,000 bail and will face arraignment in New Jersey sometime this week.

Roper, who was driving "without having slept for a period in excess of 24 hours" according to a criminal complaint, is a driver for Walmart. The big box store has released a statement to express their sorrow and promise to accept responsibility if need be.

"This is a tragedy, and we are profoundly sorry that one of our trucks was involved," Bill Simon, president and CEO of Walmart U.S., said in a statement.

"The facts are continuing to unfold. If it's determined that our truck caused the accident, Walmart will take full responsibility."
