Tori Spelling recently recounted an incident involving her 17-year-old son, Liam, and their family’s Elf on the Shelf tradition, calling him a “jerk.”

On her MisSpelling podcast, Spelling explained that she assigned her four eldest children – Liam, Stella, 16, Hattie, 13, and Finn, 12 – the task of arranging the elves for their younger brother, Beau, 7. While her daughters created “cute and artsy” setups, her sons took a more provocative approach.

Spelling described discovering the elves positioned in explicit scenarios, which she humorously likened to a “porn massacre” and dubbed “Elfie Does Dallas,” referencing the 1978 adult film Debbie Does Dallas.

The reality star noted that the display included inappropriate placements and the use of household items like beef sticks and cheese sticks. Despite finding the scene internally amusing and sharing photos with friends, Spelling advised Liam to “cut back on the dirtiness.”

Spelling shares her five children with ex-husband Dean McDermott, from whom she filed for divorce in March 2024. Spelling has openly discussed the difficulties of single parenthood and the importance of preserving family rituals for her children’s stability.

In a recent podcast episode, Spelling acknowledged that she remained in her marriage longer than she might have otherwise, prioritizing her children’s desire for parental unity. She emphasized the significance of maintaining consistency in family traditions, especially during the holiday season, to provide a sense of normalcy for her children.
