Tommy Hilfiger Releases ‘The Classics Reborn’ Collection With Shawn Mendes

On Friday, Shawn Mendes made an appearance at the Tommy X Shawn Classics Reborn event in Milan, Italy.

The 24-year-old singer has collaborated with designer Tommy Hilfiger to celebrate the history of the brand.

Hilfiger spoke about the 28-piece collection, saying, “The Tommy X Shawn Classics Reborn collection marks another step towards realizing our vision for sustainability, as we aim to create fashion that Wastes Nothing and Welcomes All.”

To mark the launch last week, Hilfiger and Mendes hosted a series of events in London, Berlin, Milan and Mexico City.

Mendes shared some pictures of himself wearing pieces from the collection to Instagram. He first thanked the team behind the series and their efforts to make sustainable clothing.

Mendes first gained a following when he posted song covers on Vine. His debut studio album Handwritten debuted at the top of the U.S. Billboard 200, making him one of five artists to debut at number one before turning 18. The lead single “Stitches” placed in the top 10 in the U.S. and Canada.

Italian actress Matilda de Angelis also attended the Milan event. Her acting credits include the films Italian Race and Rose Island as well as the television miniseries The Undoing, starring Nicole Kidman and Hugh Grant.
