Teyana Taylor Speaks Out On Leaked Divorce Documents Accusing NBA Star Iman Shumpert Of ‘Extreme Narcissistic Behavior’

Teyana Taylor has expressed her frustration over details of her divorce from NBA star Iman Shumpert being leaked.

The singer secretly filed for divorce in January, though the news did not make headlines until last week when a gossip site obtained court documents alleging that Shumpert treated Taylor “cruelly and displayed extreme narcissistic behavior throughout the majority of their marriage.”

Taylor, 32, took to Instagram on Friday to address her separation from the former NBA player.

“I mind my business, don’t bother nobody and y’all know I’ve never played about my children, family and privacy,” she wrote. “I have not spoken on this private matter to any media outlets or blogs etc. So everyone claiming ‘Teyana said’ didn’t get any statements directly from ME. These statements were taken from private court documents that were leaked to the public.”

“It is very heartbreaking that someone would take out the time to make such a private matter public for the world to see,” Taylor continued. “However, protecting my family is one thing I’ve ALWAYS done and for my children, I will continue to do so.”

According to the court filings, Taylor is seeking full custody of their three daughters. She has accused Shumpert of cheating on her, manipulating her and hindering her career.
