Sarah Jessica Parker, who was born and raised in New Jersey, wishes that Governor Chris Christie had offered a stronger apology during his press conference to address the bridge traffic study scandal last month.

Sarah Jessica Parker Criticizes Chris Christie

"I kept waiting for him to say … 'I regret that I ever set a tone in my office that it made it seem to anybody who was working with me, subordinate or not, that any of this kind of behavior was acceptable,'" Parker said on MSNBC’s Morning Joe on Tuesday morning.

"What you have to say is, 'The fish stinks from the head down,'” the Sex in the City star added. “'I am a leader and I set a tone in an office that made this somehow seem acceptable.'"

Parker, who was on the show to chat about her recent stint on the stage in The Commons of Pensacola with Blythe Danner and her shoe line SJP – which is making its store debut on Feb. 28. – didn’t shy away from the political theme. Joe Scarborough and his co-host Mika Brzezinski, who both claim to know the governor outside of politics, warned Parker from jumping to conclusions.

Parker admitted that her family, who still live in the Garden State, aren’t too keen on Christie and his involvement in the faux-traffic study. "So they have strong feelings. … They're old school lefties," Parker laughed. "I'm really curious to see what's forthcoming in all these emails."

You should watch how you go about it Sarah Jessica Parker,. This is a on going investigation and stars like you should keep out of it. I say the term: 'Dumb Brunette' should add new meaning to you Sarah Jessica Parker. Looks like your intuition is 'Blind As a Bat'.
