Rod Stewart’s Daughter, Kimberly, Pregnant With Second Child At 45

Rod Stewart’s daughter, Kimberly, is expecting her second child at the age of 45.

Kimberly posted the announcement to Instagram alongside a photo of herself in a floral dress cradling her baby bump. She wrote, “Baby boy coming soon,” with a blue emoji heart. She did not reveal the father of the child or the due date and disabled all comments on the post.

This marks Kimberly’s first Instagram post of the year, since October 2024.

Kimberly’s stepmother, Stewart’s wife Penny Lancaster, posted a congratulations to her Instagram stories, sharing Kimberly’s photo and writing, “So happy you’re becoming a mom again.”

Kimberly shares her elder child, Delilah, 13, with her ex, Benicio Del Toro.

Kimberly, whom Stewart shares with his ex-wife Alana Stewart, is Stewart’s second eldest daughter out of his eight children. Alana was Stewart’s first wife; the two married in 1979 and divorced five years later.

Kimberly’s second child will mark Stewart’s fifth grandchild; Stewart’s fourth grandchild was born to his son Liam and his wife Nicole earlier this month. They introduced their newborn to the world via Instagram, sharing snaps of themselves, their elder son and the baby in the hospital. The caption of the post introduced, “Elsie Skylar Stewart. Our sweet little pea born 03/02/25.”

Elsie is named after Stewart’s late mother Elsie Gilbert, who died in 1996.

In an interview with Hello magazine in 2015, Kimberly raved about her experience of motherhood, saying, “I honestly never, ever thought that I could love anything as much as I love [Delilah]…I had her at the right time. I got all the partying out of my system and I just wanted to be with her all the time. I’ve been a stay-at-home mother since she was born and I’ve loved every second.”

She added, “[Delilah’s] sassy and has great manners…I really instilled that from a young age–so she’s always saying ‘please’ and ‘thank you’.”

As Kimberly prepared for the birth of Delilah in 2011, her representative confirmed the nature of her and Del Toro’s relationship: “Although they are not a couple, they are looking forward to the arrival of the baby… Benicio is the father and is very supportive.”

Kimberly and Del Toro have visibly made an effort to maintain an amicable relationship while co-parenting over the years and were even seen on vacation together in 2023 when they took Delilah to see Stewart perform in Puerto Rico.
