Pete Davidson Had Tattoo Of Ex Cazzie David Covered Up Before Announcing Ariana Grande Relationship
Saturday Night Live star Pete Davidson surprised scores of fans on Monday when he and Ariana Grande announced they are engaged, just weeks after reports surfaced that the two were dating.
Pete Davidson Covered Up Ex-Girlfriend Tattoo
Davidson is known for having tattoos all over his arms. Earlier this month, the 24-year-old comedian — who joined SNL in 2014 to become the youngest member of the cast in the show’s history — revealed two tattoos dedicated to Grande, who will be 25 later this month. Fans have since been wondering what Davidson did with his previous tattoo of his ex-girlfriend, Cazzie David.

He covered it up, of course. Davidson recently posted a video on Instagram of himself dancing shirtless, and the tattoo of David’s face on his right arm is clearly gone. Instead, it has been replaced with one of a forest that covers nearly his whole forearm.
According to E! News, artist Jon Mesa replaced Davidson’s tattoo last month, just after the comedian confirmed he and David had split.
The new tattoo also excludes the previous one’s words: “X•XI FOREVER” and “I was saying I was crazy before I knew I was.”
David is the daughter of Seinfeld and Curb Your Enthusiasm creator Larry David. She and Davidson got matching tattoos that read “We Babies” last year.
Shortly after Davidson and Grande went public with their relationship, David commented on an Instagram photo of them: “Been in Africa, what’d I miss?” alluding to a recent trip she took to the continent.

Grande, who recently released the hit song “No Tears Left To Cry,” also announced last month that she had split from rapper Mac Miller after nearly two years together.
Davidson is the second male SNL star to recently begin dating a major celebrity. Weekend Update anchor Colin Jost, a head writer for the show, and Scarlet Johansson went public with their relationship in December. Jost and his co-Update anchor/head writer Michael Che will co-host this year’s Emmy Awards.
