NFL Fans Slam New Carrie Underwood Song “Game On” For ‘Sunday Night Football’
There’s a brand new Sunday Night Football song, but not all NFL fans appear to be embracing it.
Although the new intro theme is still sung by country music star Carrie Underwood, fans were quick to jump on Twitter shortly before the start of the Chicago Bears–Green Bay Packers game — which aired on NBC — to slam the fact that Underwood’s signature “Oooohh… Sunday Night!” is gone. The singer has provided the intro song for Sunday Night Football since 2013, although the new track is called “game on.”
