Meghan Trainor Comes Clean About Using Weight-Loss Drug Mounjaro After Persistent Rumors
Pop singer Meghan Trainor has responded to speculation that she used weight-loss drugs.
At the 2025 Billboard Women in Music event on March 29, Trainor coyly told Entertainment Tonight that she has been “trying all the things” to stay in shape and “science in secret,” adding, “I love it.”
She said, “I learned a lot of tricks that I had no idea [about]…I was working out so incorrectly for so long. I was running and doing cardio, and my body was always inflamed…So anything that’ll help me age backward, I’m into it.”
“I just learned about the NADS [a type of supplement]. I was like, ‘Make me Hailey Bieber, I’ll do it, I’ll take it… I’m trying all the things. I love a doctor explain stuff to me,” Trainor continued.
Finally, in an Instagram post on March 31, Trainor confessed to using the weight loss drug Mounjaro. “Yes, I used science and support (shoutout to Mounjaro!) to help me after my 2nd pregnancy. And I’m so glad I did because I feel great,” she said.
Trainor has long been transparent about the cosmetic procedures she has undergone. Last month, Trainor posted a video to Instagram celebrating her recent breast implants. She told the camera, “I’ve always struggled with loving my boobs before I got them done because they were never even, were always sagging my whole life… after having two kids, living a healthier lifestyle, and losing weight, I couldn’t be happier with my decision… I’m so obsessed.”
On her Workin’ On It podcast in December, she shared she had a lip lift gone wrong. “I got too much botox, and I need help. I messed up…Everywhere I go, I cannot smile. My face hurts to smile.”
More and more celebrities have been turning to Ozempic as a weight loss drug, despite warnings of the dangers. In January, comedian Amy Schumer opened up about her horrific experience of Ozempic, saying on The Howard Stern Show, “I tried it, and I was vomiting, and I’m in bed. My son’s like, ‘Can you play tag?’ I’m like, ‘I can’t.’ I was shriveling…I lost 30 pounds so quick. I looked great but couldn’t lift my head off the pillow, so what’s the point?”
