Lindsay Lohan's First Day In Jail 'Rough'
It’s been 24 hours since Lindsay Lohan was taken into custody and has at least 13 more days to go if she gets out on good behavior. The starlet is serving time in the Century Regional Detention Facility in Lynwood, California – the same jail where Paris Hilton served her time back in 2007 for her DUI.
Lohan has been housed in an area of the prison that is apparently reserved for the rich and infamous – Lohan is staying one cell over from Hilton’s ex room, which is currently being occupied by Alexa Neiers, the Pretty Wild star who’s currently serving time for robbing celebrity homes, Lohan’s ironically being one of them. According to reports, Lindsay will be kept isolated during her jail stay, spending about 22 hours per day in confinement. However, sources say that her cell is close enough to Neiers that they could conceivably communicate with each other.
One of the first people to visit Lohan was her lawyer, Shawn Chapman Holley. "Understandably, Lindsay’s having a difficult time adjusting as it would be for anyone," Chapman Holley told People. "She’s trying to make the necessary adjustments to an extremely stressful and difficult situation. There were some tears." –ELENA COX
