Kim Kardashian West has a vetted interest in prison reform, a cause that even spurred her to meet with President Donald Trump back in May. On Wednesday, Kardashian returned to the Oval Office for another round with Trump.
KIM KARDASHIAN RETURNS TO THE WHITE HOUSE TO DISCUSS PRISON REFORM AGAIN
The two reality television stars intend to reunite to resume their conversations regarding sentencing reform and clemency issues. A focal point for Kardashian earlier in the summer was the case of Alice Marie Johnson, a nonviolent drug offender who was dealt a life sentence in prison.

Having successfully convinced Trump to commute Johnson’s sentence, Kardashian is now focusing on Chris Young, another individual who was convicted with a life sentence for drug-related issues. While the plan is for Kardashian and Trump to meet again today, it is possible that could change.
“Today at the White House, members of the administration are hosting a listening session about the clemency process. The discussion is mainly focused on ways to improve that process to ensure deserving cases receive a fair review,” White House press representative Hogan Gidley expressed in a statement.
Kardashian is one of the many attendants in today’s White House listening session, along with Alex Gudich, Brittany Barnett, Jessica Jackson Sloan, Kevin Sharp, Leonard Leo, Mark Holden, Mark Osler, Paul Larkin, Rachel Barkow and Van Jones. Jared Kushner, Trump’s son-in-law, is among the White House staff present for the event.
