Hudson Returns to Idol

Jennifer Hudson is returning to the American Idol stage after Wednesday night's show to tape a performance for a future show. Hudson, 27, who finished seventh in 2004 edition, went on to become the biggest Idol star ever. She hasn't been back to the show since the murders of her mother, brother and nephew in October. Former Idol contestant Ruben Studdard will also perform. Hudson is expected to sing a track from her debut album. (Photo: WENN)
