Grimes Confronted Ex Elon Musk About His Anti-Trans Views: ‘He’s Unhappy With Woke People’

Singer Grimes has confronted her former partner, Elon Musk, about his views regarding trans people and their rights.

Musk has made numerous anti-trans comments on X, his platform formerly known as Twitter.

When asked by Wired magazine about Musk’s views on specific issues, Grimes said, “I don’t want to talk about this too much. But take the trans thing. After that, we had a big, long conversation. I was like, ‘I want to dissect why you’re so stressed about this.'”

The singer explained that getting to the root of Musk’s opinions would help her “get to the heart of what other people’s issues are.”

She described his feelings as an “über guy situation.”

“And it came down to pretty much every way that you transition can cause fertility issues,” she concluded about Musk’s views. “He’s unhappy with woke people.”

Musk recently has been involved in a public feud with Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg, challenging him to a cage match in Rome.

Grimes and Musk have a child together but split last year. They remain on friendly terms.
