Matthew McConaughey Impressed by Wax Figure Of Himself By Madame Tussauds

During an appearance on The View, Matthew McConaughey was stunned after the talk show revealed a Madame Tussauds wax figure of the Oscar-winning actor. 

In a video, The View hosts and McConaughey can be seen waiting for the wax figure to be revealed. Once the curtain revealed the figure, McConaughey appeared shocked and slightly weirded out at how accurate the figure was.

“I feel like AI’s alive and well.” McConaughey joked, looking at the figure. 

McConaughey also remarked that he remembered wearing the outfit, “I don’t remember when, but I did wear this suit. And I remember those shoes.” McConaughey’s wax figure was modeled after an appearance on Jimmy Fallon in December 2021.

Known for their attention to detail, Madame Tussauds even included a similar wedding band to McConaughey’s real one. Engraved with the number “6:22,” it refers to McConaughey’s favorite Bible passage, Matthew 6.22. The passage was read at McConaughey’s wedding to Brazilian model Camilla Alves.

McConaughey was at The View to promote his book, Just Because, a children’s book he co-wrote with illustrator Renée Kurilla. He made headlines over a heated exchange with cohost Joy Behar over whether he is “anti-gun.”
