“Today I had an incident with the Oklahoma Highway Patrol. Emotions got the best of me and I was out of line in the things I said. I support law enforcement as much as anyone can, I was just frustrated in the moment, it was unlike me and I apologize. They brought me to jail, and there is a mug shot of me floating around. Prayers we can all move on from this and prayers people know I’m just trying the best I can, I love you guys and I am truly sorry to the officers,” he wrote.

Bryan was driving from Oklahoma to see the Philadelphia Eagles opening game against New England. He became an Eagles fan after living with his ex-girlfriend in Philadelphia for a year. Bryan has been seen performing with an Eagles jersey.

Bryan’s arrest comes after his self-titled album debuted at the top of the Billboard 200 charts after selling the equivalent of 200,000 units in its first week. The album also topped the rock, rock and alternative, Americana/folk, and country charts. His track with Kacey Musgraves, “I Remember Everything,” debuted at number one on the Billboard Top 100.

Bryan’s highly anticipated tour, Quittin’ Time Tour will begin in March 2024. He is also up for New Artist of the Year at the 2023 CMA Awards.
