Brooke Burke-Charvet Recovering After Surgery

After revealing that she had thyroid cancer in November, Brooke Burke-Charvet, 41, underwent surgery late last week and tweeted that the procedure was successful and she is recovering.

"Thank God it's over," Burke-Charvet, Dancing with the Stars alumnae and wife of former Baywatch star David Charvet, tweeted. "I'm clean, surgery went well and I can talk. Losing my voice was my biggest fear," she wrote. "Thanks for all your prayers and light."

Burke-Charvet also posted a photo of herself before surgery on her WhoSay page with the caption, "Last looks at my neck. Here we go…."

I'm not afraid anymore," Burke-Charvet said, reports Wonderwall. "I think I've been dealing with it so much the past couple months that now I'm ready to just get it done and put this behind me. My only need is being OK for my husband and my children so they don't have to go through any pain, and making this as easy as possible for them."
