Former Days of Our Lives actress Lisa Rinna took to social media to expose the show for its “disgusting” and “hostile” set environment on the soap.

Rinna was cast on the iconic show as Billie Reed in the 1990s, and later reprised the role for a week in 2018 and in the 2021 spinoff series, Days of Our Lives: Beyond Salem.

This week, Rinna shared a photo of director and co-executive producer Albert Alarr, who has been the subject of a nine-week investigation into accusations of workplace misconduct.

“Karma is a b—,” she wrote on her Instagram story.

She then followed up with another post, in which she exposed Alarr and other people on set for ignoring complaints.

“Well, this took a long time… the last time I went over there and did that week on Peacock I couldn’t believe the work environment,” she said. “It was disgusting, I was shocked. I let many people know, Albert included, and they didn’t do a thing until now, it seems.”

The actress also shared her feelings on Threads.

“I went back to play Billie in 2021 for Days of Our Lives: Beyond Salem. I was there for one week only,” she wrote. “I was shocked by the hostile environment that it had become, and I was afraid for the young actors who continue to work there. I went to the producer and I even spoke with Sony HR. I wonder where the union is in this and how was this left unchecked?”

The investigation into Alarr was sparked after a spur of layoffs in March. Allegations began surfacing about his inappropriate behavior, and the two-month-long inquiry prompted the studio to take “a series of actions designed to ensure a safe and respectful work environment,” though it is unclear what this entails.

Last week, Rinna created a social media uproar after posting a video with hugely inflated lips after she said she’d sworn off changing them. She later deleted the video calling her look “drag.”
