Adele, Katy Perry Win Big At VMA's
This year's MTV Video Music Awards was all about the ladies, with top awards going to Katy Perry, Britney Spears and Lady Gaga, and the most Moonman trophies handed out to British soul singer Adele, though all four of her awards — for the monster hit "Rolling in the Deep" — were for technical achievements.
The only male artists to be honored were teen pop sensation Justin Bieber, "Best New Artist" Tyler, The Creator, rockers the Foo Fighters and rapper Kanye West for his collaboration with Perry on "E.T." Members of the Latino band Mana were also honored for their work on “Lluvia al Corazón."
