Kevin Spacey made a brief appearance in the Central Criminal Court in London to officially plead not guilty to five charges related to the sexual assault and harassment of three men.

Spacey lived in England for several years, and was the artistic director of the Old Vic theater from 2004 to 2015. He is being accused of four counts of sexual assault by touching and one count of causing a person to engage in penetrative sexual activity without consent. These incidents occurred mostly in London, with one happening in Gloucestershire.

All we know about the charges right now are the locations, that they allegedly occurred between March of 2005 and April of 2013, and that they involved two men now in their 30s and one now in his 40s.

Spacey was first accused of sexual assault by fellow actor Anthony Rapp, who claims Spacey molested him when he was only 14. A lawsuit filed by Rapp regarding this incident was recently allowed to proceed by a New York judge.

According to the judge assigned to his case, Spacey’s trial for these charges is set for June 2023 and will last a few weeks.
